This aquatic center of Coney Island is inspired by the rocks off the shore of the oceans. As you are entering the aquatic center, it resembles the feeling of floating rocks with the shallow water that surrounds the whole building. When inside the aquatic center, it feels as though you are under a plethora of rocks, where sunlight beams through the tight gaps made from the stacking of the rocks. The rocks are stacked in a way that major site elements are visible from the interior, for example, the Parachute Tower, Carousel, and the Thunderbold Rollercoaster.
